Conversion optimization, step by step

What we optimize

Four levers to convert more

A page that receives visits without producing enquiries does not always lack traffic: it often loses visitors along the way. These are the places where we step in.

01

Landing pages and messaging

Visitors must understand within seconds what you offer, who it is for and why they can trust you: headlines, proof, visuals and page structure are reworked.

02

Purchase journey and forms

Fewer steps, fewer fields, costs and delivery times shown early, a simple payment: we spot what makes people abandon a cart or a form and we fix it.

03

Calls to action and contact

Wording, placement and timing of each button: quote request, meeting booking, sign-up or purchase, the next step must always be obvious.

04

Speed, mobile and accessibility

Pages that load fast, read well on a smartphone and remain usable by everyone: three simple conditions for not losing visitors before they even see your offer.

Our method

From audit to continuous improvement, in six steps

A structured, transparent process: you always know what is measured, what is tested and what comes next.

01

Journey audit

We analyze your statistics, your landing pages and your journey, from the first visit to the action, to spot where visitors move forward, hesitate or leave.

02

Hypotheses & priorities

Each lead is written as a clear hypothesis, ranked by expected impact and required effort: we start with what can bring the most.

03

Variant design

Copy, structure, visuals and reassurance elements are redesigned as variants consistent with your identity, ready to be compared.

04

Testing & measurement

A/B test or measured rollout: two versions are compared on real visitors, with an indicator defined in advance so decisions do not rest on impressions.

05

Implementation

The winning version is integrated cleanly into your site, with attention to loading speed, mobile display and accessibility.

06

Tracking & improvement

We follow the indicators over time, document what was learned and prepare the next tests: optimization is a cycle, not a one-off operation.

Frequently asked questions

Conversion optimization: your questions

What is conversion optimization?

It is the practice of increasing the share of visitors who take an action that matters to your business (quote request, meeting, sign-up, purchase) by improving pages, messages and journeys using data rather than hunches. It is also called CRO, for conversion rate optimization.

What conversion rate should I aim for?

There is no universal figure: the rate depends on the sector, the offer, the acquisition channel and the type of action measured. We start from your current rate and measure progress against it. As a benchmark, the Baymard Institute, which compiles 50 studies, finds that about seven in ten online carts are abandoned (70.22%).

How does an A/B test work?

Two versions of a page or an element are shown in parallel to different visitors. An indicator chosen in advance, such as quote requests or purchases, is compared, and the better version is kept once the gap is solid enough.

Do I need a lot of visits to test?

An A/B test only gives a reliable result if enough visitors go through each version. With modest traffic, we start by fixing the friction found in the audit and by qualitative analysis, then run A/B tests when the volume allows it.

Is conversion optimization compatible with GDPR?

Yes, if the tools are well chosen and well configured. The French regulator CNIL states that some audience measurement tools can be exempt from consent under strict conditions; other trackers, such as some testing or ad-tracking tools, require the visitor's consent. We configure the tools accordingly.

Which tools do you use?

We choose according to your traffic, your site and your constraints: site analytics, heatmaps, visit recordings and A/B testing tools. The tool matters less than the quality of the hypotheses and of the measurement.

How long before I see results?

It depends on your traffic and the nature of the changes: some obvious fixes can be measured quickly, while an A/B test needs time to gather enough visits. We give you a precise timeline after the discovery call.

How much does conversion optimization cost?

Every project is unique. We provide a tailored quote after the audit, based on your site, your traffic and your goals. Book a meeting to discuss it.
